Continuing Medical Education Grievance Policy

POLICY STATEMENT ON MANAGING GRIEVANCES 

All grievances relative to the program should be in writing and specify the nature of the grievance, including as much detail as necessary to clarify the grievance. Grievances should be directed to the Executive Director of Area Health Education Center and Community Health Programs at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.  

Grievances will be reviewed by the members of the CME Committee.   

Recommendations from the committee on resolution will be forwarded to the Athens Campus Dean for final decision. All grievances will be responded to in writing within 30 days of receipt.  

If there is not a satisfactory response, further appeals shall be addressed to the Council on Continuing Medical Education of the American Osteopathic Association at 142 East Ontario Street, Chicago, Illinois 60611-2864.
