Clinical Training and Assessment Center
Welcome to the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine Clinical Training and Assessment Centers. CTAC plays a key role in the Heritage College mission "... to provide a clinically integrated, learning-centered, osteopathic medical education continuum for students, interns, residents, and fellows..."
Specifically, CTAC provides a training and assessment area, enabling medical students, interns, and residents a place to enhance their clinical skills in a safe and supportive environment. In association with the standardized patient program, the students learn and practice history taking and physical exam skills in examination rooms outfitted with medical equipment found in a doctor's office or clinic. The CTAC feature control rooms for faculty to review live and allows interactions to be digitally recorded for future review.
