Ohio resident will be defined for the purpose of this scholarship as a student who attended high school in the state of Ohio and is considered to be a lifelong resident of Ohio.
- Intent to practice Primary Care (Family Practice, General Internal Medicine, or General Pediatrics) in the State of Ohio. Preference is given to the prior recipient of the John A. Brose, D.O. Scholarship (this scholarship is intended to be renewed each year as long as the student continues to meet the criteria). William Carlson, D.O. Pediatric Scholarship
- Years 2, 3, and 4
- Parent’s info not required.
- Current or past member of the Pediatric club at OU-HCOM, letter of recommendation from pediatric chair, clinical or CORE preceptor.
- Strong interest in Pediatric Medicine and intention to pursue a pediatric residency.
- Recipient must sign a letter of intention.
- Preference to students with outstanding achievement.
