Student Research Club
Student Organization Athens
Our Mission
The purpose of the OUHCOM Student Research Club is to provide students, at all levels of training, with the knowledge necessary to begin conducting research in the specialty or discipline of science they are interested in. This club welcomes members with all levels of experience. Research remains a vital component of residency applications. The level of project ownership, diligence in research design, and publication record act as a medium to express an applicant's passion for a given area of medicine. Our club will help provide students with information on clinical and biomedical research basics, how to start their projects, where students can find specialty-specific research opportunities, and how to plan for a research year if interested.
