Our Mission

The Mission of the HCOM SAOAO is to form a bridge between Osteopathic Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery, in order to create a holistic functioning system to provide all the members with the opportunity to change the future of Osteopathic Orthopedic Medicine by being well educated and experienced health care practitioners.

Services Provided   

SAOAO offers exposure to Orthopedic Surgery for medical students and aims to inspire future Osteopathic Physicians to pursue careers in Orthopedic Surgery and to incorporate the principles of Osteopathic Medicine in their practice, as we are underrepresented within the specialty.
   
Philanthropic Events include: Turkey Bowl: Will require canned goods for entry into the tournament.

All events will be funded by dues paid by club members and the time volunteered by Orthopedic Residents, Attending Surgeons, and our faculty advisor Dr. Jodie Foster.
