Our Mission

Our mission is to improve Spanish proficiency and cultural competency among osteopathic medical students through exposure to Spanish conversation, medical vocabulary, and discussion of health disparities within Hispanic populations.

Dues: $5 annually

Services Provided

This organization will aim to improve the abilities of our members to engage with Spanish speaking populations in a medical setting. Given the large number of Spanish speaking persons in the United States, we believe that improving the Spanish skills of future physicians will help improve community health by better serving these populations. 

Tentative Schedule 

As an organization, we meet 3-4 times each semester, hosting guest speakers and various group activities. We learn conversation and clinical skills, as well as discuss relevant programs and experiences that are available to us as medical students seeking to further study Spanish.
