The purpose of this organization is to enhance the education of OU-HCOM students beyond the basics of biomedical ethics and encourage students to debate the decision-making in assorted clinical cases and biomedical research.

Services Provided

This organization will sponsor at least one public activity each semester. The organization fosters active discussion centered around various bioethics-related topics, with the primary aim of instilling a deeper understanding of ethical values into future physicians in training.

Tentative Schedule for 2023-2024

This organization will sponsor at least one public activity each semester. The organization will meet at least once every other month during the regular academic year. Meetings include case presentations delivered by board members centered around a particular area of bioethics with relevant case studies and group discussions. The club will also sponsor a board review each academic year to help OMS-IIs with their study of bioethics in preparation for board exams.
