International Student Employee Paperwork
Hello! You've been sent the link for this website because you are an international student who has been offered and has accepted student employment with Ohio University. As part of the onboarding process, you'll need to complete the necessary paperwork prior to starting your new job. Please carefully read and follow the steps below.
NOTE: This entire process must be completed before you will be able to begin working.
Here is a helpful instructional video to guide you through the process of completing the paperwork:
International Student - Instructional Video
Step 1: Complete the New Student Employment Packet by downloading a copy of the forms and completing them electronically.
Step 2: You must physically sign or draw your signature with your mouse on the SSA-1945 (page 6), and the OPERS Exemption form (page 4, if applicable). Electronic signatures are NOT acceptable on these two forms only.
Step 3: Upload the completed documents securely by clicking HERE. Because this is a secured site, you must include your Social Security Number on all applicable forms.
Step 4: Complete section 1 of the I-9 before your first scheduled day of work (see options below). You will then be required to physically take your identification documents to a designated location to have them verified in person.
Choose the best option for you to complete your I-9 and to get your documents verified:

After completing page 1, click HERE to find the nearest location and contact information for scheduling an appointment to take your documents to be verified.
