Crisis and Emergency Resources 

Students experiencing a crisis or emergency while traveling internationally can access support through International SOS, the premier global services provider the university contracts to provide assistance with medical emergencies, as well as personal, travel, legal and security issues. They work with OHIO’s international health insurance provider, which provides comprehensive medical and mental health coverage internationally.

  • Coping Clinic

    An online, drop-in workshop that focuses on developing and practicing coping skills. This resource can be utilized throughout the semester, between counseling sessions, or as you wait to get connected to services. 

  • Virtual Workshops

    Counseling and Psychological Services offers two, three-session workshops designed to support students struggling with anxiety and depression.

  • Mindfulness

    Mindfulness is a useful practice for developing relaxation skills and a sense of inner harmony and well-being. Learn more about what mindfulness entails and whether it can support you and your situation.

    Counseling resources vary by campus, but you can find a provider in your area through Psychology Today's database of mental health professionals.
