You are receiving this email message because you are registered for Second Summer Session 2025-26 classes at Ohio University. Please check MyOHIO Student Center or Go OHIO to review your class schedule.

The deadline dates listed later in this message are for classes that meet the standard start and end dates for second summer session. Many students, especially those enrolled in OHIO Online programs, take classes that meet during different dates. Therefore, it is important to check the add/drop/withdraw dates for each course you are registered to take. These dates will vary on a class-by-class basis and might be different from those listed below.

If you are not attending Ohio University this second summer session and are still enrolled for classes, please contact your academic college or student services office.

To find specific deadline dates, such as the last day to drop or last day to withdraw, select the calendar icon in your weekly schedule in MyOHIO Student Center. Deadlines are 5:00 p.m. Eastern on the date indicated unless otherwise noted. However, online transactions may be processed beyond 5:00 p.m. Eastern if the system is available.

Upcoming Academic Calendar dates for second summer session (class-specific deadlines are for classes that meet 6/29/26 – 8/15/26):

Sunday, June 28, 2026, is the last day to cancel registration for second summer session (remove all courses and fees).

Monday, June 29, 2026, is the first day of classes.

Thursday, July 2, 2026:

  • Last day to register for second summer session. Note: Students who are in attendance by this date but fail to complete any registration procedures must pay a $150.00 penalty for retroactive registration correction.
  • Last day to add a second summer session class
  • Last day to apply for or change a grading option for second summer session class (credit to audit, audit to credit, pass/fail to regular grade option, or regular grade option to pass/fail).
  • Last day to receive partial fee adjustment (80%) of registration fees for complete withdrawal from the University for second summer session (all second summer session courses removed from the student’s record)
  • Last day to remove (drop) a second summer session class from student’s academic record with possible fee adjustment. Note: From July 3 – July 31, students may withdraw from one or more second summer session classes, but the course will remain on student’s academic record with a withdrawn grade and no fee adjustment.
  • Last day to opt out of Digital Course Materials for second summer session (remove digital content fees associated with Inclusive Access).
