Ohio University’s newest Bobcats and their parents will transition from home life to college life in Athens during the University’s Welcome Week starting on Thursday, Aug. 23. Helping to ease the transition will be student volunteers, faculty and staff who will assist others in successfully navigating campus, moving into residence halls and educating others about the University’s welcoming activities as well as sustainability and recycling efforts. This year’s Welcome Week events kick off on Thursday, Aug. 24, and continue through Sunday, Aug. 26. Individuals attending Ohio University Graduate Commencement on Friday, May 4th, 2018, and Undergraduate Commencement on Saturday, May 5th, 2018, may utilize parking within any dark green or purple lot on campus from 7 AM - 10 PM on Friday, May 4th, and Saturday, May 5th, 2018. Vehicles should be parked within a regular non-metered, non-restricted space, and non-restricted lot. All fees must be paid when parking at a meter on campus. Read More

Those planning to attend Sib's Weekend Friday, February 1st, 2019 - Sunday, February 3rd, 2019 should be aware of the following parking restrictions during this weekend. All university lots on campus will open at 3 PM on Friday, February 1st, 2019 to those without permits with the exception of red lots, blue lots, and residential parking garages. These lots will remain open through the end of the day on Sunday, February 3rd, 2019. All vehicles must be parked within a regular non-metered, non-restricted space within the lot. Read More
