Karen Corcoran is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a BS in Family and Consumer Sciences Education. She holds a Masters in Education from Mount Saint Joseph College. Karen is the Middle Childhood Program Coordinator on the Chillicothe Campus. She is a former Career Tech Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher at Urbana High School, Bishop Flaget School, and Paint Valley Schools. Prior to her work at Ohio University, Mrs. Corcoran also worked at the University of Rio Grande and the Gallia Vinton Educational Service Center. In these positions, her work centered on bridging teachers to license and new teacher induction. Her volunteer work includes serving as President of the Ohio 4-H Foundation Board and community organizations including Rotary, Ohio Farm Bureau, Drug Free Clubs of America with the Buck Fifty, and church.
