Disc Golf
Overview
Disc golf borrows basic concepts of regular golf and combines them with the dynamics of frisbee. The goal is to land a frisbee-like disc into an elevated metallic basket that serves as a catcher. The nine-hole course is open to Ohio University students, faculty, staff, alumni and the community.
Cost: Free — no fees, passes, or membership required.
Hours: Open sunrise to sunset.
Getting Started: Hole 1 is located on the west side of Ping Recreation Center. Look for the concrete tee pad with an attached marker indicating Hole 1 — that's your starting point.
Equipment: Players must bring their own discs; rentals are not currently available.
Leagues & Events: No leagues or events are currently offered on the disc golf course.
