Counselor-in-Residence Program
The Counselor-in-Residence Program places mental health clinicians directly into residence halls to address the concerns of residents and Housing & Residence Life staff.
PROGRAM INCLUDES
- Brief counseling
- Preventative and psycho-educational programming
- Follow-up services to residents and staff in response to crisis situations
The Counselor is In
During fall and spring semester, the counselor is available to speak with residents and housing staff during Let's Talk hours. Counselors are available to meet in person. No appointment necessary.

Office hours are available when the Living Learning Center (LLC) is open. The LLC is closed during most national holidays and when school is not in session.

After Hours
If you need to consult with a counselor, outside the dedicated Let's Talk hours, call Counseling and Psychological Services' main line (740) 593-1616.
A counselor will be available on this line after business hours, weekends, and during holidays.

In an emergency situation, call 911 for assistance.
