External billings are necessary when a university department has provided goods or services to an external party and needs to bill for those goods or services.

It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that we announce the appointment of Kim Trout as our new University Bursar! Kim has been with the Bursar since 1996 and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this crucial role.

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of Sherry Rossiter, after an exceptional career spanning more than 25 years of dedicated service to the University.

In an effort to make the application process easier for students and their families, Congress passed the FAFSA Simplification Act.

Fall semester 23/24 tuition and fees will be assessed in July and will have a due date of August 21, 2023. Payment Plan and waivable fees will be available when fees are assessed. 

The fall semester waiver deadline for Student Health Insurance, Student Legal Fee and WellBeing, if applicable, is September 15, 2023. Waivers can be submitted on the MyOHIO Student Center or the Authorized User Portal when fees are assessed.  

Ohio University students are able to set up Authorized Users to view student account activity, make payments, enroll in a semester payment plan, manage waivable fees, and view 1098-T information. Please watch our Authorized User video for a tutorial on how to grant access to an Authorized
