Office of the Bursar

Fall semester tuition and fees are assessing for enrolled students.  Residence Hall & Meal Plan charges are scheduled to assess the weekend of July 11th.  The due date will be August 21, 2020.

If the Student Health Insurance is charged to your student account, the waiver application is available on your MyOHIO Student Center or Authorized User Portal.  The waiver deadline is Friday, September 11, 2020.

 

Bursar Response to COVID-19

The Office of the Bursar is closed for in-person interactions until further notice. Inquiries can be made via email (bursar@ohio.edu) or by phone (740-593-4130). Deposits and customer payments can be placed in the drop box located inside the south entrance doors on the ground floor of Chubb Hall (Court Street side of the building). Please seal the deposit or payment in an envelope or bag with appropriate identifying information (e.g. student name and PID number, customer number and invoice number, deposit description and account number).  Departmental change requests should be emailed to cashier@ohio.edu at least one business day prior to the need.

 

Office of the Bursar

The Office of the Bursar is responsible for the billing and collecting of balances owed to the University. Primarily, this entails student tuition balances that are charged every semester. Our customer base consists of students, parents, other university departments, and external organizations.

    For Summer 2020 only, undergraduate students who enroll in Athens campus undergraduate courses will be eligible for the Athens Summer Scholarship, a new incentive scholarship valued at 30% of Athens campus tuition and fees (instructional fee, general fee, and nonresident fee when applicable).

  • Fall Semester Due Date


    Fall semester 2020/21 tuition and fees are assessing for enrolled students. Charges will have a due date of August 21, 2020. Enrollment in a 3-installment payment plan is available with due dates of September 21, October 21, and November 21, 2020. The deadline to waive the Student Health Insurance, Student Legal Fee, and WellBeing (if applicable) is September 11, 2020. Submit a waiver or enroll for the summer semester payment plan on your My OHIO Student Center or on the Authorized User portal.
