Professional Studio Portraits
University Communications and Marketing (UCM) offers complimentary professional studio portraits for university faculty and staff. Portrait sessions take place in the UCM Photography Studio and are 15 minutes in length.
Scheduling
Available session times (most often on Fridays) vary and are based on UCM Photographers' availability. Booking a time for professional portraits in the studio is completed online. You will need to provide your name, email address, and phone number to schedule a session.
Getting There
The UCM Photography Studio is located in Room 157 of Ridges Building 18.
To access the studio, please enter through Building 19 (108A Ridges Circle, Athens, OH 45701). From the entrance, walk down the hallway with the curved wall and continue through the set of wooden doors. After passing through, you’ll see another set of doors labeled “University Communications and Marketing.”
Enter the UCM offices through these doors—the photography studio will be the first room on your right.
Portrait Photo Booth
A free portrait photo booth is available in the lobby of Schoonover Center for Communication (20 East Union Street, Athens, OH 45701) and is open to all. The only requirement for use is a valid email address.
The booth guides the visitor through the process of capturing three headshots. The final, high-resolution images are provided via email.
