You may be considering ways that you can work our brand mantra – Forever OHIO – into your writing. We love that. Just make sure when you use it you don’t misuse it.
Here’s what we mean when we say Forever OHIO:
College life? That only lasts for one fleeting chapter. But your love for OHIO? That’s for life. Some feel the pull the very first time they step on campus for a visit. Others feel it the second the Marching 110 funk dances them as one class up Richland Hill and through the Alumni Gateway, or the first time they meet the friends, roommates and partners who soon become the emotional center of their lives for decades to come. You feel it when you return for Homecoming, or perhaps as you help the newest Bobcat in the family move on to campus.
Don’t take our word for it. Ask any Bobcat. They’re likely to use words like “home” (though they’re even likelier to endearingly call it “hOUme”), “magic”, “just right” and “the best place on Earth.” It isn’t hyperbole to us. It’s passion born from a shared identity that is greater than the sum of its parts while celebrating every part for its unique contributions. But unlike most university experiences, that shared identity doesn’t fade into the background. Being Forever OHIO means that a part of you will always stay here, and a part of OHIO will always stay with you. It’s knowing more than 300,000 people are standing by to lend a meaningful helpful hand when you need it, because “Bobcats Help Bobcats”. And that the lessons you learned here will serve and enrich you—and your community—for your entire career. Because here’s where you learned to love the work, and the people committed to moving it forever forward, together.
Forever is a word that is always looking forward, while also deeply rooted in legacy. You don’t always have to say “forever”. Instead you can show it through stories and testimonials from our audiences that demonstrate how we constantly live it, believe it and mutually benefit from it.
