The staff at WellWorks has been inspired by Christine "Chris" Griffin and her wellness journey in the past year.
We thought you may want to meet one of our stellar members. Here's her story:
"In the spring of 2019, I decided to do Women on Weights. I loved it! The class was fun, and I made friends. This summer I tried other classes and started going to the Power Hour for WOWzers.
I went from barely being able to make it through a single WOW class to pushing myself harder on a regular basis! I’ve been doing the workshops this semester and I have learned so much.
The biggest difference to me is the amazing community of people I exercise with at WellWorks. These people are my friends and I look forward to working out with them every week!
My goals for 2020 are to deadlift 100lbs for 12 reps (I’m up to 64lbs from an original of 24lbs in April), hold a plank for 3min, encourage more people to join WellWorks and continue to find new fun ways to exercise."
