Future Additions

In addition to growing our Publishers’ Bindings and Manuscript and Printed Leaves digital collections on an ongoing basis, our focus is on digitizing select elements of rare book materials, or in some cases entire books, that are of particular significance to Ohio University, Athens, or the broader southeastern Ohio region, that feature interventions that make our copy of any given title unique and notable, that, due to actual rarity, contribute in significant and valuable ways to research and scholarship, and/or that are so fragile that the original physical object cannot be safely accessed, read, or studied.

Access at Alden
