Join us on Monday, Jan. 27, 2020 for Getting to Know Scopus,” a training on OHIO Libraries’ newest database offering discovery to relevant, peer-reviewed literature for the scientific, medical, technical, social sciences—and the arts and humanities.

With technology changing at an ever-accelerating rate, you need the right tools to ensure you thrive in an increasingly competitive and global research environment. Scopus, an international multi-disciplinary indexing & abstracting database, enables the user to track and analyze literature in your respective field, by:

  • Setting alert notification on published articles;
  • Managing your scholarly presence;
  • Discovering authors and potential collaborators
  • ORCID ID set-up at all sessions.

The training is being offered Monday, Jan. 27, 2020 with the option of three morning—or one afternoon training.  The sessions are free and open to the OHIO community.

Morning trainings held in Alden Library's Friends of the Libraries room 319

  • 9:30 a.m.
  • 11 a.m.
  • 12 noon (will include pizza)

Afternoon training held in Room 318/Alden Library
