New Advanced Dissertation Writing Course

The Graduate College and Department of English are collaborating to offer a new course, Advanced Dissertation Writing, to support OHIO doctoral students. ENG/GRAD 7640 is open to students who have completed Doctoral Milestone 7 (an approved dissertation proposal) and will be taught by Professor of English Talinn Phillips (tiller@ohio.edu). The course supports advanced doctoral students who are writing dissertations by providing a structured environment to develop effective writing strategies, write intensively, and implement feedback from peers and instructors. This course aims to foster a supportive community of writers and equip students to complete their dissertations successfully. ENG/GRAD 7640 will meet 7 times beginning January 28.
