About the Office of New Student and Family Programs
Mission
The Office of New Student and Family Programs supports students and their families as they transition into and through the Ohio University experience. We create connections to meaningful partnerships and resources that foster confident decision-making, belonging, and engagement in the campus community, empowering students to grow in knowledge, wisdom, and love, and to prepare to serve the greater good.
To accomplish this mission, we engage all units and staff across the university in collaborative partnerships and develop informed student leaders who value belonging, embody OHIO spirit, and demonstrate a genuine passion for helping their fellow Bobcats with a service-oriented mindset.
Vision
New Student and Family Programs creates a welcoming and supportive environment for students to thrive as we establish the foundation for the transformational OHIO experience focused on personalized success.
