What to do in a Crisis or Emergency Situation?
- In an Emergency or if you are in imminent danger, immediately call 911
- If you are not in imminent danger but in an urgent need of crisis support, please call National Suicide Hotline at 1-800-784-2433
- You may also call CPS after hours emergency number (740-593-1616) and press 1 to speak with a counselor
- You may also seek help from a local hospital or a local suicide hotline
- You may also use a CRISIS TEXTLINE: Send a text to 741-741
- If you have been sexually assaulted and or need to talk to a Sexual Assault Survivor Advocate, please call 24/7 Hotline: 740-597-SAFE(7233)

Examples of Urgent Needs May Include
- A student is having suicidal thoughts and is worried they are unable to keep themselves physically safe
- A student has recently experienced a physical or sexual assault
- A student states they are hearing voices or seeing things
- A student recently experienced or witnessed a threat to life or safety
- A student has recently experienced the death of a loved one
