University Press hosts “Books, Gardens, and High Tea: An Afternoon of Fundraising”

Supporters of the Ohio University Press came together on Sunday, Oct. 1 at the Zenner House in Athens, Ohio to celebrate the joy of literature, gardens and community. Alumnus Jeffery Chaddock, supporter of the Press and University Libraries, hosted the event with an afternoon filled with inspiring conversation, refreshments and captivating recitals.

Beth Pratt, the director of the Ohio University Press, spoke about the Press’ achievements and the importance to continue its good works. Kari Gunter-Seymour, esteemed Ohio Poet Laureate and University Press author, also recited the poem “Geaux Jeaux” from her book, “Alone in the House of My Heart.”
