The Black Alumni Reunion has yet another successful year

On Sunday, Sept. 18, University Libraries held a get together for OHIO alumni attending the Black Alumni Reunion (BAR). Outside the fourth floor of Alden Library near Wolf Garden, button making and a curated display of materials helped conclude the weekend’s activities.

University Libraries worked hard to prepare for the incoming alumni with a week-long display being available for viewing on the fifth floor of Alden from Sept. 11 to Sept. 18. Many faces stopped by during the event to take a look at items such as newspapers and yearbooks, as well as listen to gospel singers and make mementos to take home.
