About the Bakery
Ohio University's bakery is an authentic scratch-bakery, a rare find amongst university dining services. We produce all of the pastries, cookies, muffins, dinner rolls, biscuits, desserts, specialty breads and pizza dough for all of OHIO's dining venues and retail outlets.
Our goal is to turn the clock back to a time when a bakery actually made everything it offered from beginning to end in its own facility. Not only are the products made fresh daily, we use only excellent quality -- real ingredients which are minimally processed.
Services
Our services include special occasion cakes, the birthday cake club, retail orders for desserts, breads, pastries, cookies, and muffins.

Picking Up Your Order
Any order placed with the Ohio University Bakery may be picked up at Culinary Services' Central Food Facility (South Shafer Street)
Payment Options
Check and all major credit cards accepted. All Culinary Services venues are cashless.

We are able to fill most orders within three business days.
Birthday Club
Show how much you care with birthday cookies or cakes from the Ohio University Bakery!
The Birthday Club is a program that gives parents the opportunity to buy a birthday cake for their student living in OHIO's residence halls. They receive a 9-inch double layer round cake or a 9-inch chocolate chip cookie. Both include plates, napkins, forks, and a small message card with a personal message from the sender.
Gluten-free and Vegan cake/cookie options also available!

Ordering Process
We ask that you place your order at least two weeks before your recipient's birthday. Insufficient lead time may result in an order delay. Please call 740.593.2980 or 740.597.9029 or email catering@ohio.edu for additional assistance.
Delivery/Pick-Up Process
Your loved one will receive a surprise cake announcement via e-mail. They can then pick up their treat at the closest university dining location. Delivery to offices, residence halls and off-campus locations is not available.
