Ohio University holds institutional memberships in the following professional organizations whose missions are to advance of the field of dual enrollment and expand opportunities for secondary school students.
National Alliance for Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP)
The National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) works to ensure that college courses offered by high school teachers are as rigorous as courses offered on the sponsoring college campus. As the sole accrediting body for concurrent enrollment partnerships, NACEP helps these programs adhere to the highest standards so students experience a seamless transition to college and teachers benefit from meaningful, ongoing professional development. To advance the field and support a national network of members, NACEP actively shares the latest knowledge about best practices, research, and advocacy. The NACEP annual conference is the premier destination for college officials, high school leaders, policymakers, and researchers interested in creating an effective academic bridge between high school and college.

Ohio Association for Dual Enrollment Partnerships
The Ohio Alliance of Dual Enrollment Partnerships (OADEP) began in 2009 as a grass root cadre of dual enrollment practitioners and advocates from across Ohio meeting to discuss best practices, opportunities and challenges.
OADEP is proud to be the first state chapter of the National Alliance of Concurrent Partnerships (NACEP).
The purpose of this organization is to link Ohio college-school dual enrollment partnerships and to support and promote such partnerships through advocacy of quality initiatives, program development, professional development, communication and promotion of national standards.
Key Activities
- Disseminate the standards of quality dual enrollment programs
- Provide professional development to all interested parties concerning quality dual enrollment programs
- Advocate for programs that enable interested teachers to obtain dual enrollment credentialing
- Serve as a state advocate for dual enrollment partnerships
- Foster strong partnerships between postsecondary and secondary institutions
