Advisory Boards

The work of coordinating Ohio University’s dual enrollment program requires extensive communication, collaboration, and coordination.

This work is facilitated through regular consultation with the CC+ Advisory Board that keeps the Office of Dual Enrollment Programs informed, assists in decision-making, and communicates changes to their units.

The composition of the advisory board is representative of a diverse array of key stakeholders in the CC+ processes, including academic, service, and administrative units.

Function of the CC+ Advisory Board

  • Advise the assistant director concerning CC+ activities
  • Inform the development of policy and practice
  • Encourage academic programs to engage with CC+
  • Make recommendations in response to changes in CC+ guidelines
  • Review and make recommendations concerning applications for a waiver of the requirements for the College Credit Plus program in accordance with section 3365.10 of the Revised Code

In addition to the CC+ Advisory Board, Ohio University has future plans to establish an external advisory board. We often find ourselves developing new policies and practices to support the CC+ program but don’t always have the input from all of the external stakeholders that they impact. Thus, the intent of this group is to gather input and feedback on our current policies and practices as well as on ideas for future plans so that we are giving voice to those in the community that are directly impacted by the program. Membership on the external board will include representatives from school districts, community members, and professional organizations that serve in the following professional roles:
