Biological Sciences Giving Opportunities
How to Support Biological Sciences
Gifts by alumni and friends help support faculty and students in the Biological Sciences Department.
Gifts can help in these specific ways:
Undergraduate scholarships: Growth in our enrollment has created a need for scholarships across all of the biology majors. These funds would also allow the department to recruit and retain high-achieving students.
Undergraduate research support: Many students participate in undergraduate research projects, including senior theses and summer activities, with faculty and graduate students. These experiences can be enhanced and expanded to more students with additional resources.
Named graduate fellowships: The department's current stipend levels are below national averages for biology departments. Endowment-based fellowships would enable the department to increase stipend levels and attract top graduate candidates.
