Dr. Amy Taylor-Bianco

Dr. Amy Taylor-Bianco (Dr. B.) is a professor of management at Ohio University’s College of Business and a fellow of the Voinovich School for Leadership and Public Service. She's been with OHIO since 2002 and is the executive academic director of the Walter Center for Strategic Leadership.
Dr. B. is a passionate management and leadership educator who is committed to every student’s success, weaving together organizations, students and community in order to co-create a rich learning experience. Her research and teaching focus is on strategic leadership and change, cross-cultural education, executive development and self-regulation of leaders. She received a grant from the National Institute of Health to investigate the effects of instructional framing on subsequent motivation and performance. Dr. Taylor-Bianco is a Hogan Assessment certified coach and utilizes this and other assessments to assist students and young career professionals in being their best selves.
Dr. Taylor-Bianco earned her master’s degree and Ph.D. from Columbia University and taught at Columbia and New York University. She's acted as a consultant to business, government and social enterprises and worked in England, India, Italy as well as in Ohio and New York.
