Dr. Amy Taylor-Bianco

MSM Program Director; Professor

Dr. Taylor-Bianco (Dr. B.) earned her Master’s degree and Ph.D. from Columbia University and has taught both at Columbia and New York University. She grew up in rural New Jersey and then lived in Pennsylvania, England, and New York City. Dr. B has been with OHIO since 2002 and considers herself an honorary Bobcat. Dr. B is a Professor of Management at Ohio University’s College of Business and a Fellow of the Voinovich School for Leadership and Public Affairs. She is currently the Executive Academic Director of the Robert D. Walter Center for Strategic Leadership. Her research and teaching focus on strategic leadership and change, cross-cultural education and executive development and self-regulation of leaders. She received a grant from the National Institute of Health to investigate the effects of instructional framing on subsequent motivation and performance.
