WellWorks is more than just a fitness facility — we’re a wellness center.

We currently offer two types of Membership options: Virtual and Facility.

We believe good health should be an attainable goal for everyone. WellWorks is an environment that’s inviting, not intimidating.


Membership Type: Virtual Membership

Wellness, in all its glory, brought to you wherever you are! Virtual Memberships are available to anyone with access to internet. We do not restrict participation based on demographic or location, aside from some age restrictions for minors. 

WellWorks Virtual Membership Includes:

  • Easy to use Member Portal
  • Live Fitness Classes from Certified Instructors
  • On Demand Videos of: Fitness Classes, Workout Ideas, Mindfulness, Wellness Coaching, Sleep Tips, Self Care Coaching and more!
  • On Demand Supporting Documents for: Nutrition Support, Recipes, Fitness Tutorials, 31 Day Mixers (like a wellness challenge, but better) and more!
  • Active Senior** Classes and Videos
  • Virtual Personal Training*
  • Virtual Wellness Coaching*
  • Online Support
  • No start up or annual fees

*Available to Virtual Members at an added fee.

**These offerings are ideal for all ages. The phrase "Active Senior" is intended to indicate low-impact with reasonable modifications. Please Note that, at this time, WellWorks is unable to bill SilverSneakers(r) for Virtual Memberships, per the policies of the SilverSneakers(r) program. 

Online Portal

Our online portal conveniently houses all the resources that are available to Virtual Members. To use this portal, one must first activate an account (Ohio University employees do this by using their Single Sign On or "OHIO SSO" and non-employees will select "Sign Up." Signing up for a portal account doe NOT commit you to any purchases, but does give you user access to be able to purchase a membership, if you so choose)

Fitness Classes and On Demand Videos

As a Virtual WellWorks member, you get access to a variety of on-demand and live classes taught by passionate instructors — from yoga to kickboxing, balance/strength to stair workouts -- and so much more! All at no additional cost to you.

Supporting Documents

We take a holistic approach to wellbeing by offering our members support documents to help them in all areas of their wellbeing. Virtual Members can access movement challenge, recipes, kitchen hacks, mindfulness tips, Wellness Coaching worksheets and so much more.

Personal Trainers

Take your workout to the next level with one of our personal trainers. Our trainers keep you motivated and on track with a customized workout designed to help you achieve your fitness goals.

WellWorks Facility Membership Includes:

  • Access to the Fitness Center
  • Unlimited Group Fitness Classes 
  • Discounts on Specialty Classes such as Women on Weights and The Great Yoga Wall
  • Free Health and Wellness Coaching Videos
    • One-on-One coaching available at an added fee.
  • Reasonably Priced Personal Training
  • Parking (for those who do not qualify for a University parking pass)
  • Use of lockers, showers and changing rooms 
  • Support from Wellness Specialists
  • Free blood pressure screening upon request
  • Free music/headphone rental (when offered, currently on pause due to COVID)
  • Free WiFi (through Ohio University)
  • Access to all Virtual Content (see above)

Fitness Center

Our fitness center is equipped with the latest cardio and weight machines to help you create a balanced workout. Our qualified staff is always available to provide you with machine-by-machine instruction.
