Testing at Ohio University Southern
Testing center hours are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED – NO WALK-INS ACCEPTED
Test Proctoring is available in the Student Resource Commons Success Center. You must schedule all proctored exams 24 hours in advance as seating is limited. You must also make arrangements with your instructor before you may take a proctored exam. If you are taking an online class and you are scheduling a proctored exam at the Student Resource Commons Success Center, please notify your instructor.
We do have a private testing room available. If you wish to test in this room, please mention this when scheduling your appointment. Because seating is limited, this is not always available so you must schedule at your earliest convenience if you wish to reserve this room.
lf you are more than fifteen minutes late, please call to reschedule your exam.
HESI exams are offered through the Nursing Department remotely using Zoom. To test, you will need a computer (desktop or laptop) with a webcam and audio capabilities. Students may schedule tests at http://registerblast.com/ous If you have any questions, please call the Nursing Department at 740-533-4633.
Proctortrack: Test Proctoring for Instructors and Students
Online Proctoring allows students to take a proctored exam on their own device from a location of their choosing if their instructor has enabled the feature for their course. For more information on Proctortrack for both Instructors and Students, click https://www.ohio.edu/oit/services/testing/online-proctoring/help#students
With the return of face-to-face instruction for most courses in fall semester, beginning Aug. 23, 2021, online proctoring fees will apply at $5 per student, per test for automated proctoring, and $8 per student, per test for live proctoring services through Proctortrack. Students will be able to leverage a credit card to process payment directly with Proctortrack.
The Testing Center is only open to Ohio University Students at this time. We will revisit opening the Testing Center to outside sources in Fall of 2022.
