11.13.21 TDX Version 11.4 Release
TeamDynamix will release a new version on Saturday, November 13. The planned change generating the most excitement is the option to automatically close resolved tickets after a set window of time. This update will require configuration and will be announced when available in the ticketing application. Immediately available enhancements include improved search features for the Technology Help Center, expanded permissions to modify groups, and the ability to export forms and workflows from the sandbox to production. Find out more about the release from TeamDynamix (requires creating a TDX account).
11.15.21 Problem Management Launch
Problem management training has concluded, and the minimum viable product (MVP) will launch on November 15. For those unable to attend a live training session, please review the problem management documentation and watch the training recording.
12.6.21 Asset Management Training
Revised asset management training dates were announced at the November 4 OHIO IT Updates meeting. Plan to attend one of the following live training sessions, which will be recorded for those who cannot attend:
- Monday, December 6 1-2 p.m.
- Tuesday, December 14 2-3 p.m.
July 2022 Service Catalog/Knowledge Management Timeline
The service catalog and knowledge management modules have an updated timeline, with a planned campus launch of July 2022. This includes moving the current Service Catalog and Help & Resources pages into the Technology Help Center, along with improvements to the end-user experience. Those with TDNext access will get a preview of the Service Catalog built in TDX by January 2022, and a proof of concept of the Knowledge Base will be available internally by April 2022. Once all Knowledge Base articles are imported from the current website, the Knowledge Base and Service Catalog will be made available to campus simultaneously, with a target date of July 2022.
