Several graduate programs named among the top 100 in nation in 2026 U.S. News and World Report rankings

U.S. News and World Report has ranked numerous Ohio University graduate programs within the College of Business and the College of Health Sciences and Professions, among the top 100 in the nation, including the College of Business’ Entrepreneurship and Production-Operations programs, and the College of Health Sciences and Professions’ Audiology, Nurse Anesthesia, Speech Language Pathology and Physical Therapy programs.

OHIO’s Rehabilitation Counseling program in the Patton College of Education also ranked in the top 50, tied at 33 and second in the state of Ohio.

Additionally, the Public Administration program in the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service was ranked in the top 100 in the nation at 92 and the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts’ graduate Fine Arts program was ranked 62 in the nation.

The Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine also had top ranked programs both in the state and nation, ranking top in the state of Ohio, and 53rd in the country, for most graduates practicing in rural areas. Additionally, the Heritage College ranked 1st in the state, and 102 in the nation, for most graduates practicing in medically underserved areas. OHIO was also ranked 2nd statewide, and tied for 50th in the country, for producing the most graduates practicing in primary care.

On the national scale, OHIO’s Physical Therapy program tied at 48, the Audiology program tied at 45, rising 16 spots from last year and the Speech Language Pathology program tied at 54. The Physical Therapy Program was also ranked the second-best program in the state of Ohio. The Nursing Anesthesia program tied at 91 in the nation and ranked fourth in the state of Ohio out of public institutions. 

Two programs in the College of Business were ranked within the top 100, including the Productions-Operations program tied at 60 and the Entrepreneurship program tied at 99.

The Information Systems program in the Scripps College of Communication tied at 85 in the nation and ranked third in Ohio.

The Russ College of Engineering and Technology's Industrial, Manufacturing and Systems Engineering program also cracked the top 100 best in the nation at 81, rising five spots from last year.

OHIO’s Clinical Psychology program in the College of Arts and Sciences was ranked among the top 100 in the nation, tied at 90.

  • Best Health Graduate Programs – Audiology (College of Health Sciences and Professions): tied at 45, fourth in Ohio
  • Best Health Graduate Programs – Physical Therapy (College of Health Sciences and Professions): tied at 48, tied at second in Ohio
  • Best Health Graduate Programs – Speech Language Pathology (College of Health Sciences and Professions): tied at 54, third in Ohio out of public institutions
  • Best Public Health Programs (College of Health Sciences and Professions): tied at 142, tied for fourth in Ohio out of public institutions
  • Best Nursing Anesthesia (College of Health Sciences and Professions): tied at 91; fourth in Ohio out of public institutions
  • Best Public Affairs Programs (Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service): tied at 92, third in Ohio
  • Best Fine Arts Programs (Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts): tied at 62; tied for third in Ohio
  • Best Education Programs (Patton College of Education): tied at 164; seventh in Ohio
  • Best Health Graduate Programs – Rehabilitation Counseling (Patton College of Education): tied at 33; tied for second in the state of Ohio
  • Best Part-time MBA Programs (College of Business): tied at 157; fifth in Ohio out of public institutions
  • Best Accounting Programs (College of Business): tied for 132; fourth in Ohio out of public institutions
  • Best Business Analytics Programs (College of Business): tied for 140; tied for fourth in Ohio out of public institutions
