Where Everything Connects

Welcome to the College of Health Sciences and Professions. This is a place where unexpected things happen. A place where students learn and work in an interdisciplinary environment, collaborating on research, care simulations and community outreach. This is a place where students from the School of Nursing engage in health emergency simulations alongside medical school students; where exercise physiology students work alongside Physical Therapy students in our WellWorks fitness center; and where undergraduate students in Communication Sciences and Disorders partner with research assistants in the Neurolinguistics Laboratory at Ohio University to provide free respite services for caregivers of adults with disabilities. It’s a place where RN to BSN nursing students and health administrators can earn degrees online through a high-tech program yet still strengthen their passion for personal and proactive care. This is where purposeful lives and brilliant careers begin. Where everything connects.
