30 Mile Studio

Modeled after Athens’s local food ecosystem known as the 30 Mile Meal, the 30 Mile Studio is a network of artists, designers, and cultural producers interested in co-creating regional assets.

30 Mile Studio projects partner OHIO faculty and students with community organizations to investigate and implement the principles of social engagement and creative placemaking. Each collaboration asks us to reflect on what we already value about our region, which cultural challenges we can address together, and how arts-based practices contribute to regional vitality.

Recent Partners: Passion Works Studio, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Athens City School District, Factory Street Studio
