Music Performance Certificate
The graduate Performance Certificate program is a full-time, 20 credit-hour graduate-level curriculum. Students enrolled in the Performance Certificate have the opportunity to take applied lessons on their instrument, participate in chamber music and ensembles, and perform a recital. Students may pursue this certificate while concurrently completing a Master of Music degree.

Admission to the Certificate
Applicants must have an acceptable baccalaureate degree, although exceptional students with non-music majors may be considered in cases where applicants can document that they have the equivalent in professional performing experience and meet School of Music academic and performance standards.
English Proficiency Requirement: Please review information about Ohio University's minimum English Language Proficiency requirements for graduate study.
International Students: This program permits full-time enrollment in residence at Ohio University, and an I-20 may be issued based on admission to this program.

Courses & Curriculum
Students must complete 20-21 credit hours of approved music courses, including a recital, to complete the certificate.
