Music Administration is a broad, evolving field of study with rapidly expanding full-time job opportunities. The Music Leadership Certificate equips students, who may come from a range of academic backgrounds and professional experiences, with the basic tools to gain entry-level jobs in the field or advance current knowledge and practice.
Students will be prepared for jobs that support arts and cultural organizations, navigate challenges in the non-profit sector, and advocate for policies and resources that support arts organizations and programs. Courses also provide general knowledge in music as well as music performance opportunities.
