Dean of the Russ College
Welcome to the Russ College of Engineering and Technology!
I’m extremely honored and excited to serve as the 15th dean of the Russ College of Engineering and Technology where we educate meta-engineers and -technologists who create for good. Our students, faculty, staff, and alumni work in areas across engineering and technology disciplines to improve the world around us.
The Russ College has become a leader among its peers and set its graduates on a course for success. It has a long history of producing excellent graduates. In my first year, I’ll be working to understand the culture, the traditions, and the policies of the Russ College and Ohio University. I’ll look to our students – current and future – and our faculty, staff, alumni, and friends to feed me suggestions and innovative ideas.
Together, I hope we’ll make the Russ College a go-to place for industry to hire top students, seek technical support, and form research collaborations; a powerhouse for state economic development; and an incubator for student leaders and entrepreneurs. I look forward to working with all of you to create for good!
Sincerely,
Mei Wei, Ph.D.
