Hearing, Speech and Language Clinic
Welcome to the Ohio University Hearing, Speech and Language Clinic. The clinic, located on the Ohio University campus in Athens, Ohio, offers an extensive range of services for all age groups, from comprehensive pediatric testing of preschoolers and school-age children to adults. Our experienced staff of audiologists and speech-language pathologists assess disorders of hearing, language, speech, voice and swallowing. Interventions and products available include hearing aids and hearing protection, hearing conservation consultations, swallowing therapy, speech therapy and language therapy.

Invitation to a Public Meeting during the Reaccreditation Site Visit of the Division of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Ohio University by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Audiology and Speech‐Language Pathology.

As part of the reaccreditation process for Master of Arts Speech-Language Pathology and Doctor of Clinical Audiology programs the CAA is seeking comments from the public during its Feb. 18-19, 2019 site visit to Ohio University.
The Division of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at Ohio University invites all interested parties (for example, practicum supervisors, current and former students, employers, members of Ohio University’s academic community, and members of the general public including recipients of clinical services in any partner organizations) to a Public Meeting during its upcoming reaccreditation site visit. The Public Meeting is at 4:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, in the Wilson Room at the Ohio University Inn, 331 Richland Avenue, Athens, OH 45701.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with members of the accreditation site visit team to provide personal observations and experiences related to the Master of Arts Speech-language Pathology and/or Doctor of Clinical Audiology programs’ compliance with the CAA’s accreditation standards.
Interested parties may either attend this meeting to provide oral or written testimony to the site visit team, or may provide comments to the Council on Academic Accreditation prior to the site visit. Written comments provided prior to the site visit must be submitted to the Council on Academic Accreditation no later than Jan. 25, 2019. All written testimony must include the commenter’s name, address, telephone number, and the commenter’s relationship to Ohio University Division of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
