Abby Jeffers is studying journalism in the Scripps College of Communication. Her experiences with autoimmune disorders led to her decision to become a journalist. "I learned that storytelling builds powerful connections, leading to both interpersonal empathy and societal change, and that experience motivated me to become a journalist and tell others' stories." She is on the Cats' Cupboard Steering Committee and produces a podcast series about gender and music.
