Parents & Families
The Office of the Dean of Students, in collaboration with University departments and offices, seeks to partner with parents and families to provide timely, helpful information to aid in the academic, social and holistic success of Ohio University students. To accomplish this mission the Office of the Dean of Students seeks to effectively communicate with parents and families, help parents and families understand and navigate the Ohio University landscape, provide advocacy for parents and families, and provide on-campus activites for family weekends.
April 6 - 8, 2018
Historically, one of the most popular weekends of the year is Moms Weekend. All Ohio University moms are invited to join us in Athens for a very special time.
Where to Stay? There are a limited number of on-campus residence hall rooms available for a two-night stay. The Athens County Convention and Visitors Bureau maintains a list of local availabilities through their "Where To Stay" website located here. The Hocking Hills offers a lodging directory, too located here.
There are a wide variety of activities scheduled for Moms Weekend which are listed below. Additional activities to this site will be added as they become available. Some events are free and some require a purchased ticket. You can purchase tickets ahead of time.
To purchase tickets for events or make a residence hall room reservation click here beginning Monday, February 19.
Ohio University is committed to ensuring its programs, services, and activities are accessible to anyone with disabilities. If you have an accommodation need, question or concern related to participating in Moms Weekend please contact email@example.com by Friday, March 30.
