Login changes coming to PeopleAdmin

Greetings from UHR:

You are receiving this message because you are an HR System User of PeopleAdmin. HR System Users have access to administrative functions within PeopleAdmin, such as reviewing position postings and reviewing applications, and often act as Hiring Managers or Student Hiring Managers.

Beginning Monday, August 9th, HR System Users will need to access PeopleAdmin through Single Sign On (SSO) to utilize administrative functions. This migration to SSO is a part of continuous efforts to keep personal data secure.

HR System User Login (administrative functions)

1. Continue to login at www.ohiouniversityjobs.com/hr.

2. When you arrive at the landing page, you will click on “OHIO Hiring Managers/HR system users- Click here to login with your credentials”.

3. After clicking this link, you will be prompted to enter your OHIO ID and password.

Note: After SSO is implemented, your PeopleAdmin specific username and password will no longer work to access the system. You must use your OHIO ID and password.

Guest User Login

Guest user functionality will be unaffected by the switch to SSO.

1. Guest users will continue to login at www.ohiouniversityjobs.com/hr.

2. Once at the landing page, enter the credentials that were provided from the hiring manager or the email from PeopleAdmin. (This process has not changed)

3. Click login.

HR System Users and Applicant Accounts

As an HR System User, you may have an applicant account paired to your System User account. If so, you may apply for jobs following this process:

1. Click the link titled “HR system users with an active applicant account, click here to apply, or create new applicant account using left navigation menu”

2. Login via SSO (using OHIO ID and password) to apply for jobs under your applicant account

If you are denied access to the jobs portal as an applicant after clicking the link above, you will need to create a new applicant account using the ‘Create Account’ button on the left navigation bar of the applicant portal (www.ohiouniversityjobs.com). Not all HR System Users will have an active applicant account paired with their HR System User accounts. Some may need to create a new and separate applicant account.
