Anti-Racism and Black Identity around the World

 

The Office of Global Opportunities partnered with Amizade, a Fair Trade Learning organization that works with communities in more than 10 countries, to bring you this piece about anti-racist movements, the impacts of racism, and what it means to celebrate Black culture.

This video is only an introduction to a complex and expansive set of topics and a more than 400-year history of oppression in the US alone. It is intended to give some context to the recent waves of Black Lives Matter protests across the US and around the world.
