Sophia Yoder
Hi everyone! I am Sophia Yoder and I am from Hartville, Ohio. I feel that I have always had an eye for design. When I was younger I can remember rearranging all my friends' rooms when I would go over to their houses after school. I have almost accomplished a full four years here at Ohio University and am awaiting graduation this May! Growing up it was easy for me to articulate the way different spaces made me feel- how the layout of a room could completely change your experience in it. Having this passion, I was drawn to interior architecture where I have been able to fully create spaces that shape the lives of people and influence their everyday well-being. I am driven to create spaces, particularly residential, that feel very intentional with purpose behind each idea.
Magnolia is a holistic health center in Mississippi, designed to address the state's limited mental and holistic health services. With a focus on community well-being, the center will offer diverse practices and treatments in a serene, naturalistic setting. This project is deeply important to me as it combines my passion for design with my commitment to fostering mental and holistic health, creating a space where healing and connection can thrive.
