Hi! I’m Megan Bauer, and I grew up in North Ridgeville Ohio, about 30 minutes from Cleveland. I am graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture as well as a Studio Art Minor and a Certificate in Project Management. My passion for Interior Architecture and Design stems from growing up surrounded by creativity. My mom is a graphic designer, so art and design have always been a part of my life. I’ve always known I wanted to pursue something that blends creativity with functionality. Outside of my studies, I love traveling and spending time with friends and family. After graduation, I’m excited to start my career as an interior designer and explore opportunities in a new city.

My thesis project, The Loop, is a housing concept designed for young adults navigating their first experience of independent living. It addresses the challenge of transitioning from a social, peer-filled environment to one where connections aren’t as immediate. By integrating design elements that foster interaction, The Loop aims to ease this shift, creating a seamless transition and a supportive community that empowers young adults to thrive in this pivotal stage of life.
