My name is Brendan Hopkins, I was born and raised in Dublin Ohio. I have always been fascinated with architecture and design since I was a kid interior design has taught me about many things like human psychology in the built environment, design choices that support people, and overall, how to pay more attention to my surroundings. interior architecture is the perfect mix of creativity and technical skills that often makes projects challenging. I love finding balance between my creative side and my technical skills to make my projects functional and aesthetically pleasing. Overall, I believe that design has effected the lives of everyone and thinking about the built environment is crucial to finding out how we can benefit the people.

My thesis is a mixed generational facility that houses seniors and 18+ people in the foster system. Through design, the building, Generations will bring these two age groups together. These interactions increase the physical and mental wellbeing of everyone involved by creating a symbiotic relationship where both parties can thrive.
