How fast can I complete the MBA programs?

Tuition and Fees

What is the cost-per-credit for the MBA programs?

Tuition for each program varies. For the cost per credit of your program of interest, visit the individual program's tuition page: PMBA, Online MBA, One-Year MBA.

Do the MBA programs offer scholarships?

Yes! New MBA students may qualify for up to a $10,000 scholarship. See details on the Online MBA tuition or PMBA tuition pages.

Note that student veterans, active military members, alumni and corporate partners are eligible to receive a scholarship of up to 15% through our College of Business. You will be automatically considered for the higher value scholarship.

Are there any miscellaneous fees associated with the MBA programs?

Are the MBA programs accredited?

Yes. The College of Business at OHIO is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Admissions

Do the OHIO Master of Business Administration programs require work experience?

Professional work experience is not required for the One-Year MBA. The Online MBA and Professional MBA require two years of professional work experience to apply.

Does the MBA program offer concentrations?

The PMBA and the Online MBA feature nine concentrations, including Accounting, Business Analytics, Business Venturing & Entrepreneurship, Executive Management, Finance, Health Care, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Project Management, and Strategic Selling & Sales Leadership.

Does the online MBA program have a residency component?

Yes. Through OHIO's unique Leadership Development Conference, you'll engage with your peers in person. During this weekend (Friday and Saturday) in Athens, Ohio, you will learn from world-class speakers, connect with classmates in online business programs at OHIO and meet the faculty you've learned from. All Online and Professional MBA students are required to attend this event at least once.

Which MBA program modality should I choose?

You can confidently select to enroll in either the fully online or hybrid modality that best suits your needs because our curriculum is designed to facilitate seamless transitions between the hybrid professional MBA program and the fully online MBA program, as you advance in your studies.

What kind of career can I expect to pursue with the MBA?

An MBA degree will provide you with a wide range of business knowledge and management skills. These skills can be applied to managerial and executive roles no matter what field you pursue. Employment in management occupations is expected to grow 9% between 2020 and 2030. The median annual wage for management occupations was $102,450 in 2021, according the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
